Areas of interest include (but not limited to): depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, attachment trauma, personality disorders, couples counselling, low distress tolerance and problems with emotion regulation as well as ADHD and Autism assessments.
Jacqueline has a background in neuropsychology and is experienced in conducting diagnostic assessments for adults who think they may have Attention Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) or Autism.
Assessments are carried out in her Nedlands practice or by telehealth if you prefer.
An adult ADHD diagnostic assessment involves:
• Completion of online questionnaires at home prior to your appointment.
• Asking someone who knows you well to also fill out questionnaires regarding their observations of you.
• 1 – 2 hour assessment session with Jacqueline to conduct a diagnostic interview.
• A report will be provided approximately 2-3 weeks after the interview, advising whether you meet the criteria for a diagnosis. Reports can be used for your own self-discovery and to support applications for study or workplace accommodations or NDIS funding.
Obtaining a formal diagnosis is an important step for many individuals in learning more about their neurotype.
